The article looks at the treatment of Japanese Canadians in British Columbia during World War II by looking at the memoir of Japanese Canadian Kishizo Kimura. The article focuses on the reasoning behind and processes of the liquidation of Japanese Canadians’ property. It also talks about Kimura’s role on the liquidation committee and his participation in the Fishing Vessel Disposal Committee.
