Ariel Merriam is a graduating honours student in history at the University of Victoria, a Research Assistant on the Landscapes of Injustice project, and the author of “Our Appreciation for All your Goodness and Kindness”: Power, Rhetoric, and Property Relations in the Dispossession of Japanese Canadians, her thesis and the first Working Paper of the Landscapes of Injustice Research Collective.
