Kirsten Hurworth
Student Researcher
Kirsten Hurworth worked as a student researcher in the Legal History research cluster in 2014.
Kirsten is currently finishing a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Victoria, majoring in History and English. Hurworth’s interest in Canadian history has shaped her degree and led to her involvement in two public research projects: A City Goes to War, a website, archive, and database exploring the impact of the First World War upon the citizens of Victoria, BC; and Landscapes of Injustice, with which she will be studying the legal history of the internment and dispossession of Japanese Canadians. After completing her B.A., Hurworth intends to pursue a Bachelor’s of Education.
