On August 30 and 31, Nikkei Place hosts the second annual Nikkei Matsuri, Burnaby’s family-friendly Japanese festival in the heart of Metro Vancouver. The grounds at Nikkei Place, on the corner of Kingsway & Sperling, will be transformed, transporting you into an authentic Japanese festival experience. Attractions include dynamic cultural performances, children’s games, delicious food from an array of Japanese themed vendors, cultural displays, and activities for family fun.
At Nikkei Matsuri we recognize the significance of Japanese immigrants’ contribution to the Nikkei community and want to share Japanese culture with all Canadians.
